Meet your Hosts

Brendan Kirby, Home Health PT

Brendan Kirby earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in 2015. With a passion for working with the geriatric population and patients with neurological impairments, he has treated patients across a variety of settings, including outpatient, inpatient rehab, and home health. Over the past five years in home health, Brendan has taken on multiple leadership roles, striving to provide patients with the resources they need to maximize their independence and safety in their everyday environment.

What Brendan loves most about home health is seeing the real-time impact of his care in a patient’s home. Outside of work, he’s a devoted Philly sports fan, a fitness enthusiast, and an animal lover with two dogs and four cats. Most importantly, he enjoys spending time with his family—whether coaching his son, crawling on the floor with his daughter, or enjoying a well-earned date night with his wife.

Lisa Thompson, Home Health PT

Lisa Thompson graduated from the University of New England with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2014, moved to Virginia where I started out in the Skilled Nursing facilities for 4 years and transitioned to home health PRN which quickly turned into full time since 2018. Currently reside in Austin, TX where I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring the hill country. My favorite thing about home health is the flexibility, autonomy, pay, and working with patients in their home. My least favorite thing is scheduling. Scheduling is 100% the worst part of home health and I challenge anyone to change my mind. I’m excited to partner with Care in Motion to provide a community for clinicians. Often in home health we are out there alone, and this is a great place to come together and feel supported and find the resources you need.

Dan Catuccio, Home Health PT

Dan Catuccio has been a home health PT for almost 20 years. He spent years as the educator for his company’s fall prevention, balance, and vestibular program. He is passionate about teaching the best strategies to navigate the ins and outs of home health and helping other home health clinicians become incredibly efficient so that they can achieve their ultimate work-life balance dreams. Outside of healthcare, Dan felt called to utilize his passions to start a side business as a wedding pianist, while building on his success as a content creator and social media personality where he brings both comedic and educational healthcare content to social media.

Dan Haggerty, Facilitator

As an executive at a national home therapy contractor, Dan has led a diverse set of home health teams – sales, marketing, talent acquisition, operations, and clinical leadership. While not clinical himself, Dan spends time with his company’s therapists and assistants on their visits and has encountered first-hand the challenges of life on the road – including cold lunches, the search for suitable bathrooms, intimidating dogs, and the rewards of patient progress.
